The Recertification Training for Energy Auditors is a 2-day advanced program designed to support accredited Energy Auditors in renewing their certification with the Department of Energy (DOE). This training ensures that participants remain updated on the latest policies, technical methodologies, and industry best practices in energy auditing and energy efficiency project evaluation.
The program aims to:
Provide updates on Republic Act No. 11285 (Energy Efficiency and Conservation Act) and other relevant DOE issuances.
Deepen knowledge and application of Level 2 Energy Audit methodologies in identifying and assessing energy efficiency opportunities.
Strengthen competencies in Measurement and Verification (M&V) to validate savings from energy efficiency and conservation (EEC) projects.
Enhance expertise in Financial Analysis, Modelling, and Investment Grade Audits (IGA) to support informed decision-making and project financing.
Introduce emerging tools and technologies such as IoT, Data Analytics, and Renewable Energy applications in energy auditing.
Expand understanding of energy efficiency in transportation systems, including Internal Combustion Engines (ICE) and Electric Vehicles (EVs).
